How does it work?
A protective barrier is applied to the skin to protect it from the freezing. The fat cell is targeted, and a temperature of -6 degrees is delivered for approximately 30 minutes. This programmes fat cells to die.
How long does it last?
The fat cells are permanently destroyed resulting in reduced fat cells in the area. This reduction in fat cells makes it less likely that fat will be stored here in the future. In saying that if there has been a lot of weight gained, it can still eventually build up in the treated area again.
